DHARWAD: Dharwad district, which had recorded 313 Covid positive cases on Monday, reported 275 fresh cases on Tuesday. With this, the tally of coronavirus cases reached at 57,785 cases.
The sad thing in this is, the district continued to report nine covid deaths Tuesday also. With this, the toll has reached 1025. As many as 586 patients are being treated at ICUs.
However, 446 Covid patients were discharged today. This apart, the district has 2,760 active cases.
Neighbouring district Gadag saw 78 new cases on Tuesday while reporting 2 deaths due to Covid-19 complications.
Haveri district reported 211 fresh cases and 11 deaths.
Similarly, Belagavi saw 443 fresh cases and four Covid-related deaths.
