HUBBALLI, Feb 25: Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Parlhad Joshi inaugurated the BJP’s Dharwad constituency Lok Sabha election office in Hubballi on Saturday.
BJP’s Lok Sabha election office for Dharwad constituency has been opened at the existing party office at Deshapnde Nagar, though the BJP’s new office building is ready for inauguration at Aravind Nagar.
Former chief minister Jagadish Shettar remained absent during this event. It has been reported that this was the third major event of the local BJP unit which is being skipped by Shettar after his return to the party.
However, the union minister stated that Shettar had informed the BJP City district unit president in advance that he would not be able to attend this event as he was out of station.
