HUBBALLI JANUARY 13: Rajanna Koravi, Hubballi district president of the JD(S), has resigned from the post as well as primary membership of the party.
Koravi has played a major role in organisation of the party in Hubballi-Dharwad. He has twice been elected to the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation. He had also contested against against Jagadish Shettar on JD(S) ticket from the Central constituency and lost in the last poll.
The recent developments in the party have, however, led to Koravi to leave the party and he has submitted his resignation from the primary membership of the JD(S) to party national president H D Devegowda.
Koravi has apparently plans to join the BJP and people are also speaking of a possibility of him joining the party on January 23.
