Hubballi-Dharwad to Get 100 New Buses With Advance Features

HUBBALLI,Feb20: The North-Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) in Hubballi-Dharwad would get 100 new City buses for Hubballi-Dharwad at an estimated cost of Rs 45 crore.

According to a DH report, these new buses will have front camera, rear camera and inside camera, along with digital display boards. They will also have panic button, and GPS tracking system. These advance features would help to trace the reasons in case of accidents and trace miscreant incidents inside the buses.

At present, the NWKRTC is operating 413 City buses on 384 routes in Hubballi-Dharwad, including 100 BRTS buses, and old buses obtained from the BMTC two years ago.
