Hubballi,July 11: In Commemoration of the initiative Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Guru Institute of Hubballi is organising “Hubballi – Dharwad Drama Competition for schools and colleges of Dharwad district from August 1.
The competition shall be in separate category for schools and colleges. Dramas with a Patriotic theme based like stories of freedom fighters, spreading message of patriotism ,subject of Nation pride and duration not exceeding 45 minutes are eligible to participate.
A total prize of 1 lakh rupees and other prizes will be rewarded to the winners in the competition and the competition will be held at Adiranga Theatre in Lohia Nagar of Gokul Road, Hubballi.
This drama competition provides a suitable platform for the students to showcase their talent in Drama and will be an encouragement to cultural activities among student community.
“It is a rare opportunity for the students. Any college or school from Dharwad district can participate in this competition. This is a district level drama competition and a pride arrangement, for us, Schools and colleges should participate in good number to make this competition successful “said Yashwant Sardeshpande, Chairman, Guru Institute, Hubballi.
