HUBBALLI,Feb 08: The Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) has invited suggestions and objections for the proposal to name Maidan popularly known as Idgah Maidan and Mantur Road.
In August last year, a resolution was passed in the HDMC’s general body meeting to name Idgah Maidhan near Chennamma Circle in Ward No 57 as Kittur Rani Chennamma Maidhan.
Objections and suggestions in this regard can be submitted to the HDMC’s Zone No 8 office within 30 days.
Similarly, a resolution to name the road in Ward Nos 61 and 62 (Mantur Road) as Jai Bhim Road was passed in the HDMC’s general body meeting in October last year. Now the HDMC has invited suggestions and objections.
