HUBBALLI JANUARY 18: Hubballi-Dharwad Bus Rapid Transit System (HD-BRTS) was awarded the gold medal at national level under the ‘Environment and Sustainability’ category given by SKOCH Group.
In a press release, the HD-BRTS managing director has said that HD-BRTS topped the 14 contesting projects for its facilities.
There has been a considerable increase in the number of passengers in a short period reflecting fewer people’s preference for private transport, there is AC facility provided at a lower cost, there is an environment-friendly system by the HD-BRTS. There is also integration of technology in providing these facilities and green initiatives. These were some of the facilities that led the HD-BRTS to top the list of contenders.
The project site and the facilities provided by HD-BRTS were inspected by a panel of judges. There was also an online voting facility, both of which, the press release, got the gold medal for the HD-BRTS, said the press release.
This is the worst plan which is disturbing the daily traffic.
It’s a blunder mistake authority has done. People are not at all happy with this.
