Hubballi,July 05: For Gruhajyoti Yojane, which provides 200 units of electricity to each household, the deadline for submitting applications is July 25th, as notified.
There is no specific last date for application submission, but all are urged to submit their applications as soon as possible, emphasized by Energy minister Mr. KJ George recently.
For those who submitted applications in June, free electricity will be provided from July onwards. If the application is submitted in July, free electricity will be provided from August onwards. It has been clarified by officials of the Energy Department that if the electricity bill remains unpaid, free electricity will not be provided and the pending amount must be settled.
