HUBBALLI,May 10: Panic gripped people in the locality for some time due to the fire broke out at Axis Bank on Gokul Road in Hubballi on Friday.
An accidental fire broke out at Axis Bank near Akshaya Park on Gokul Road here. The public who witnessed the thick smoke informed the police.
The bank staff immediately came to the bank and saw that the entire bank was engulfed in hot smoke. There was no one in the bank as there was a holiday on account of Basava Jayanti.
Fire brigades have rushed to the spot.
