HUBBALLI, May 13: Even after two days of heavy downpour, drain water gushing out of a manhole at JC Nagar near U-Mall, is yet to recede.
People visiting Koppikar Road and Coen Road through JC Nagar are irritated as they cannot pass through clean from the stretch due to the over flow of a manhole there.
According to locals, such flooding of drain water appears whenever heavy rain lashes the locality. It takes minimum two days to recede, a shopkeeper in JC Nagar said. “It stinks very bad, how we should sit and do business here, he asked.
HDMC authorities need to take immediate action and find out a permanent solution for this issue.
