HUBBALLI: A 65-year-old man was stabbed reportedly by his drunk son at Kale Layout in Venkatesh Colony in Keshwapur here.
The victim has been identified as Mudkappa Devanoor. His son Shridhar (30) reportedly stabbed Mudkappa in connection with a property related matter.
According to a SK report, Shridhar had asked for his share in his father’s property. Subsequently, the duo had quarrelled on Tuesday. Later, Shridhar, who came in an inebriant state, stabbed his father.
Mudkappa has been admitted to KIMS hospital for the treatment.
Keshwapur police have registered a case and launched the investigation.
