Hubballi, February 24: Following a tussle between the couple that heads Balaji Hospital in Vidyanagar, the husband and wife have filed cases against each other with the police.
Dr Shobha has told the Vidyanagar police that Dr Krantikiran, neurosurgeon at the hospital, had created fake documents to transfer money to his account from the bank. He readied a fake letter on the company letter head – without a formal meeting, or signature of approval of the directors of the hospital – on May 25, 2018. The letter was handed over to the bank manager to transfer the money, she added.
Dr Krantikiran has complained to the Vidyanagar police that his wife Dr Shobha has transferred Rs 17 lakh from the hospital account to her own account. He has said that Dr Shobha transferred Rs 7 lakh on September 17, 2018 and Rs 10 lakh on September 24 to her account.
He has also said that his wife has created fake documents to get ST reservation for a medical degree in JNMC College.
Dr Shobha also said that, since their marriage, her husband had been picking on minute issues to harass her physically and mentally. He threw her out of the house and hospital too, she said in her complaint.
