DHARWAD: The Dharwad district, on Thursday May 13, reported nine Covid deaths and 737 cases, the Health and Family Welfare Department said.
With the new figures, the total cases of Covid-19 in Dharwad breached 40,000-mark as the district has a total of 41,313 Covid positive cases. As many as 776 people have succumbed to the deadly infection so far in the district.
On the brighter side, 857 Covid patients were discharged after they Completely recovered. As on Thursday, 34,944 people have defeated the coronavirus in the district.
Five deaths and 430 fresh Covid-19 cases were reported in Gadag, while Belagavi reported 713 new cases and no fatality.
In Haveri district, nine deaths and 160 cases were reported.
