DHARWAD: Shivanand Bhajantri, Senior KAS officer, has been appointed as the new additional deputy commissioner of Dharwad district.
He took charge from outgoing ADC Shivanand Karale on Monday.
Bhajantri is a native of Saundatti in Belagavi district, and has completed MA English and MPhil from JNU, New Delhi. He was earlier serving as chief administrative officer of Karnataka Neeravari Nigam.
