DHARWAD: The district on Wednesday reported 62new cases of COVID-19, taking the total to 22,979, according to the bulletin issued by the department of health and family welfare on Wednesday evening.
As many as 13 persons were discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number of recovered patients to 22,024. Of the remaining 329 active patients, 5 patients are being monitored in ICUs.
So far, 626 people have succumbed to the deadly infection in the district.
