HUBBALLI, Feb 27: Three persons of a family died on spot when their motorcycle was hit by a speeding truck near Motebennur bypass near Byadagi taluk of Haveri district.
The deceased have been identified as Asifulla Mullad (34), Afrin Banu Mullad (27), and their six-year-old son. Their daughter who sustained serious injuries was rushed to KIMS Hospital in Hubballi.
The accident occurred when Asifulla was returning home in Haveri from Shidenur.
Their dead bodies have been shifted to mortuary in Haveri district hospital. DYSP Ganesh has visited the spot and launched the investigation.
