Bomb Scare At Taj Mahal; Visitors Moved Out Before Check

Agra, March 04: The local police got the premises of Taj Mahal cleared of all tourists as a call with a bomb scare was received on their helpline on Thursday.

The caller claimed that a bomb had been planted in the monument. The police, therefore, rushed to move the people out of the premises, before conducting investigation.

The Taj Mahal, which had been closed in March 2020, owing to the Covid-19 wave, was reopened for visitors in September. There were, however, strict rules set for the visitors to follow to prevent the spread of the virus.
