Ankola’s Youth Varadaraj Bags All India 2 nd Rank in IFS

Bangalore,June 29: Final Results of IFS recruitment examinations conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) are declared.

Varadaraj Gaonkar, of Torke village in Ankola Taluk of Uttara Kannada district has bagged All India Level 2 nd Rank in Indian Forest service (IFS) examination.

One more candidate from Uttara Kannada district, S. NaveenKumar has bagged 62 nd rank in IFS.

A total of 108 candidates have been shortlisted out of which more than 10 candidates are shortlisted from Karnataka state.

IFS mains examination was conducted from February 27 to March 6 and interview held in the month of June.
