HUBBALLI: Soon after the results of Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation election were announced, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader had been reportedly attacked in Hubballi on Monday evening.
AIMIM leader Dr. Vijay Guntral had reportedly been attacked at Karki Basveshwar colony in the city.
It can be noted here that Guntral’s wife Laxmi Vijay Guntral unsuccessfully participated in HDMC polls 2021 from ward number 69.
The DCP is said to have visited the place and taken several accused in the custody.
More details of the incident are yet to be ascertained.
