Dharwad,April: The two accused in the murder case of Dr MM Kalburgi were produced in the court on Tuesday.The duo- Amul Kale and Puneen Chatur- were brought to Dharwad court in high police security.While Amul Kale was brought from Bengaluru Central Jail, Puneen Chatur was brought from Dharwad central jail.Senior scholar and rationalist Dr MM Kalburgi was assassinated outside his Dharwad residence on 30th August 2015.The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has filed chargesheet against the 7 accused. According to the Chargesheet, the accused were allegedly inspired by a book brought out by a Hindu extremist group.
