The price of a litre of petrol crossed the Rs 100 mark in some cities of Karnataka on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
In Ballari, a litre of petrol now costs Rs 100.11, up from Rs 99.83 over the previous two days. In Chikkamagaluru, it costs Rs 99.61, up from Rs 99.33 over the previous two days. In Koppal, it costs Rs 99.16, up from Rs 98.88 over the previous two days.
In Bengaluru, petrol is priced at Rs 98.26 while it’s Rs 98.06 in Hubballi-Dharwad.
It’s unclear why there is such a disparity in petrol prices among different cities within Karnataka.
