DHARWAD: A 21-year-old youth was killed on the spot after the bike he was riding rammed into a State transport bus in Dharwad taluk.
The deceased has been identified as Channappa Basappa Basavannavar (21), a resident of Mulmuttal.
This accident took place at Lakmapur village in Dharwad taluk on Thursday.
According to Garag police, the accident took place when Channappa was movig towards Dharwad. He collided head-on with a KRSTC bus plying towards Yadwad. Subsequently, Channappa sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot.
Garag Police have registered a case in this regard.
