Hubballi, February 11: KIMS medical student Pooja Bhat who had been injured in a road accident, failed to respond to treatment and died on Wednesday
Pooja and four friends were going on a holiday to Karwar and Goa on February 2. A tipper carrying arecanuts that was traveling from Sirsi hit their vehicle. Pooja was seriously injured in the accident and was being treated at KIMS Hospital.
Many of the staff and students paid Pooja a final farewell on the KIMS premises.
