Belagavi,July 08: A woman was killed when a speeding car hit her near Basaveshwar Circle, Goaves, in Belagavi today morning.
THE accident happened, when the deceased was cleaning the road in the premises of LIC office, while sweeping, car knocked down and ran over her killing on the spot.
A case has been registered by Tilakwadi Police.

A youth was seriously injured when a car hit him on Belagavi – Bagalkot highway this morning.
The injured, Mahantesh Sanadi ( 35 ), resident of Mavinakatti village suffered serious injuries as his both legs are crushed and has been admitted to Belagavi District Hospital.
Marihal Police have registered the case.
