Ankola,June 20:A woman killed and four others were seriously injured when the Maruti Omni in which they were travelling collided with a truck on National Highway No.63 near Ankola in Uttara Kannada district.
The woman identified as Sahana Shanbhag (40) wife of Manjunath Shanbhag who is a proprietor of Shanbhag Hotel at Yellapur.
Shanbhag family was travelling to attend a wedding ceremony at Ankola. In the accident, Sneha (21 ), Preksha ( 19 ), Anita Shanbhag ( 45 ) Achyut Shanbhag (53 ) are seriously injured and admitted to hospital.
