HUBBALLI, Oct 16: Officers from various departments have seized 15 tonnes of dangerous firecrackers from a godown at Sherewad village near Hubballi.
The officers conducted a raid on R S Hebsur & Sons Firecracker Godown at Sherewad and found 78 tonnes of firecrackers in the godown. In that, 63 tonnes of eco-friendly firecrackers, and 15 tonnes of dangerous firecrackers were found.
Hubballi tahsildar, Rural police, Pollution Control Board, Fire Department, and other officials conducted this raid.
A case has been registered with Hubballi rural police station.
