SWR Trains Partially Cancelled, Regulated; Stoppages Eliminated

Hubballi, March 03: The South Western Railways has partially cancelled and regulated some of its trains on account of a three-hour line block on March 7. The stoppages of one train have been eliminated.

The chief public relations officer, in a press release on Wednesday, has said that the line block will be for the launching of the foot over bridge at the Nittur Station. The work will go on from 8:20 am to 11:20 am.

The following trains have been partially cancelled:Train No 06530 Talguppa – KSR Bengaluru Superfast Express Special, which starts from Talguppa on March 7, will be short terminated at Arsikere, as it has been partially cancelled between Arsikere – KSR Bengaluru.

Train No 02725 KSR Bengaluru – Dharwad Intercity Superfast Express Special, which also starts from KSR Bengaluru on March 7, has been partially cancelled between KSR Bengaluru – Arsikere. It will, therefore, start from Arsikere instead of KSR Bengaluru at its scheduled time.

With reference to regulation of trains, the officer said that train no 07340 Vasco Da Gama – Yesvantpur Express Special, which starts from Vasco Da Gama on March 6, will be regulated for 20 minutes at Sampige Road.

Thirdly, the officer said that the stoppages of the Puri – Yesvantpur Weekly Superfast Express (train no 02063) at Tuni and Tadepalligudem will be eliminated on the journey starting in Puri, with effect from March 19.
