Hubballi,June 15: A couple lost Rs. 3 lakh from their joint account because of online fraud here in Gokul road, Hubballi.
One Shashidhar contacted a phone number available on the internet as he could not use the net banking facility. The fraudster, who claimed as the bank staff, asked him to download an app and sent a link.
When this was done, the fraudster transferred the amount using it. A case registered with the Cyber Police Station.
