HUBBALLI: An alert constable of Railway Protection Force rescued a passenger who got stuck in the gap between platform and rake at Vasco railway station in Goa on Thursday.
The incident reportedly occurred when the passenger was trying to board the moving train No.02741 Vasco Da Gama-Patna Superfast Express Special at platform number 1 at the Vasco Da Gama station. He slipped into the gap between the platform and the train.
On-duty RPF head constable KM Patil immediately rushed to help the passenger. He pulled him safely risking his own safety.
Divisional Railway Manager, Hubballi Arvind Malkhede has appreciated the presence of mind of the RPF constable.
