DHARWAD,May 18: The Dharwad Police have arrested a youth for raping a minor.
The person identified as Mahadevappa Channappasapuri (25), is accused of raping a 7-yrar-old girl.
It has been reported that Mahadevappa took the girl on his bike on the pretext of showing a cinema and raped her on 13th May.
Later he threatened the girl not to disclose the matter. The parents of the girl came to know about the incident during the medical check-up.
A case was registered in Dharwad Suburban Police Station.
