HUBBALLI, April 26: The Indian Railways has announced that it will stop giving 1 litre water bottles to the passengers of Vande Bharat trains.
As per the latest update, the railways has decided to give 500 ml Rail Neer water bottles to every passenger of Vande Bharat train. If the passengers want an extra bottle, they will be provided it without any extra charges.
According to railway authorities quoted by various media houses, all passengers are not consuming the entire one-litre water. Consequently, water was getting waste. To minimize the water wastage, the railways has taken this decision.
