HUBBALLI, July 21: In a barbaric incident, miscreants brutally killed a priest by stabbing him with a knife, in the limits of Navanagar police station in Hubballi on Sunday evening.
The deceased has been identified as senior pujari of Shri Vaishnavi temple Devendrappa (Devappajja) Honnalli.
The police are yet to ascertain the motive behind the murder and information about the culprits.
APMC-Navanagar police have launched the investigation and registered a case in this regard.
