Belagavi,June 21:Kunda city Belagavi woke up this morning with the noise of firing by Police.
This incident happened around 3: 30 am this morning near Koyla Hotel at Veerabhadreshwar Nagar in Belagavi, when Vishalsingh Vijaysingh Chauhan ( 25 ), the most wanted by police tried to escape on his bike and started attacking police back.
In turn ACP, Narayan Baramani has encountered and fired at his leg and had arrested him.
Vishalsingh Chauhan , is a convicted murder in the murder case of Raju Doddabommanaver ( 40 ) a Real Estate Businessman in Bhavani Nagar on March 15. He is also involved in extortion cases, and collection of illegal weapons.
Cases against him are registered in Belagavi Khadebazar, Shahapur, Tilakwadi and camp police stations apart from few more police stations in Maharashtra.
