HUBBALLI, June 15: The Hubballi-Dharwad police commissionerate on Saturday issued a traffic advisory for Eid-ul-Azha celebrations, listing diversions and curbs on vehicular movement.
On Monday, June 17; all vehicles will be temporarily restricted to reach Channamma Circle, Old Court, and Lamington Road areas as members of the Muslim Community will gather there for offering Eid Namaz.
According to a release issued by the police, the buses which ply between Hubballi-Dharwad will start and end their journey at IT Park as movement towards railway station and CBT will be temporarily restricted. Besides this, no vehicle will be allowed to ply near Channamma Circle, Eidgah Maidan, Cotton Market and surrounding areas from 8 pm to 12 noon.
Vehicles coming from railway station can ply via Pinto Circle, and Desai Cross. The vehicles coming from Keshwapur Circle must take diversion at Desai Circle, said the advisory.
Also, the vehicles coming on Old-PB Road must take diversion near Kamaripet police station and move via Tasty Chicken, MT Mill, and reach Hosur Circle.
