Night Curfew Back In Pune As Covid-19 Cases Surge, Schools And Colleges To Remain Closed Till 28 Feb

Pune district administration has imposed a night curfew between 11 pm and 6 am after 849 people tested positive for Covid-19 here on Saturday.

The Pune divisional commissioner said on Sunday that no public movement except those involved in essential services will be allowed in the night.

In addition to this, all schools and colleges will also remain shut till 28 February. Hotels, restaurants and bars will have to shut at 11 p.m once the guidelines kick in. Vegetable vendors, newspaper vendors and others involved in morning activities excluded.

According to the DC, the new guidelines will be imposed from tomorrow.
