Hubballi,June 28: Rotary Club of Hubballi Vidyanagar handed over 2 Anesthesia Workstations (Medical Equipment) to KIMS Hospital worth of Rs.28 lakh from the donations from the local Rotary Club members and from Rotary District California.
In a program organized at KIMS Auditorium yesterday, Rotary District Governor Gourish Dhond and President of Rotary Club of Hubballi Vidyanagar Dr.Mahima Dand handed over the work stations to the Director, KIMS, Dr.Ramalingappa Antaratani.
“Members of Rotary Club are assisting KIMS continuously. During the time of COVID, many Medical Equipments have been donated. Now, Anesthesia Machines are highly advanced and are very much useful in protecting the life of a patient effectively. These are used in operation theatres and super specialty departments. We are aiming to utilize these equipments for about 10 years by periodical and proper maintenance “– Said Dr. Ramalingappa.
Former Rotary District Governor Mahesh Raikar, Renowned Chartered Accountant Dr.N.A.Charantimath, KIMS Superintendent Dr.Arunkumar, Principal KIMS Dr.Eshwar Hosamani, Dr.Rajashekhar Dyaberi, Jayashree Jadhav and others were present on the occasion.
Sewing Machines to two women, and bicycles to three Girls were distributed by Rotary Club of Hubballi Vidyanagar. AI Vision Smart Glasses were distributed to two persons by Rotary Club of Hubballi Midtown.
