CHANDIGARH: Bollywood actor and BJP’s MP-elect Kangana Ranaut, on Thursday alleged that a CISF security official at Chandigarh Airport slapped her while she was travelling to Delhi.
According to Ranaut, a BJP’s MP-elect from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi, when she was proceeding to the boarding point after the security check, the CISF woman official, Kulwinder Kaur, deputed at the frisking area, allegedly argued with her and slapped her.
Kangana’s statement about women in Punjab during the farmers’ agitation is believed to be the provocation behind the alleged slapping, according to sources.
The constable, Kulvinder Kaur, has been suspended with immediate effect following the incident, CISF officials said.
