HUBBALLI: On the occasion of Jashn-e-eid Miladunnabi, Jamat-e-Ahle Sunnat, Karnataka branch, Hubli and Bijapur Hospital, Hubli jointly organized a blood donation camp at Bijapur hospital located on Karwar road in the City recently.
Speaking to Hubballi Times, activist Mujeebullah Makandar said that the intention of this blood donation camp was to provide blood for the needy patients. People in urgent situations do not get blood immediately, with the aim to be a part in fulfilling the blood requirement the camp was organized,” he added.
The function commenced with the recitation of versus from Holy Quran and naath by Moulana Niyaz Alam.
The doctors and Ulma on the occasion addressed the gathering and encouraged the common people especially the young generation to save lives by donating blood.
Meanwhile, Irshad Bellary and his team were felicitated as corona warriors on this occasion.
Mohammed Yusuf Sundke, Syed Tajuddin Qadri, Mufti Mohammed Ali Qazi, Dr K I Bijapur, Dr Mulki Patil (President IMA),Dr Nekar (Secretary IMA), Dr Umesh Hallikeri, Moulana Abdul Hakeem Qadri, and Syed Zabiullah were the dignitaries present on the occasion.
