HUBBALLI, July 3: Deputy Inspector-General of Police N. Shashi Kumar, who has been posted as new Police Commissioner of Hubballi Dharwad, took charge on Wednesday night.
The incumbent Police Commissioner Renuka Sukumar has been transferred as Additional Inspector-General of Police (Crime), Police Headquarters, Bengaluru.
Mahaning Nandagavi is New DCP
Mahaning Nandagavi, a 2018 batch IPS officer, has taken charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law & Order), Hubbali-Dharwad on Wednesday.
Mahaning Nandaganvi was serving as Superintendent of Police, Intelligence; has been transferred to Hubballi.
It may be recalled here that after the murder of Anjali Ambiger in the city, Deputy Commissioner of Police P. Rajiv was suspended by the State government and IPS officer Kushal Choukse was given additional charge of the post.
The State government, on Tuesday, issued an order posting Mr. Nandagavi as the new Deputy Commissioner of Police.
