Hubballi Railway Station Gets Five Stars From FSSAI. Know What It Means

Hubballi, March 29:The Shri Siddharoodha Swamiji (SSS) Hubballi railway station has become the first train station in Karnataka to get a five-star certification from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).

The certification makes Hubballi Junction the ‘Eat Right Station’. It’s only the seventh railway station in India and the only one from Karnataka to get the ‘Eat Right Station’ status. And it’s only the fifth in the country to get the five-star certification, according to Hubballi Railway Divisional Manager.

The certification is a recognition of Hubballi Junction in providing hygienic and nutritious food to railway passengers. Hubballi Junction has IRCTC food courts, vendors and several other eating options.

The certification has been issued by Arun Singhal, Chief Executive Officer, FSSAI, and is valid until March 23, 2024.
