HUBBALLI: A son of agricultural labourer, who completed his MBBS from KIMS Hubballi has topped the national eligibility cum entrance test (NEET) Super Specialty exam 2021 for DM Gastroenterology and DM Hepatology.
Chidananda Kallappa Kumbar, is a resident of Rannabelagali village in Mudhol taluk of Bagalkot district.
Chidanand completed his schooling and PU at his native village and Jamakhandi. He later pursued his MBBS from KIMS hubballi and MD from a Guwahati college with the help of some generous contributions from local philanthropists and scholarships.
He has opted DM Gastroenterology course at G B Pant Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, New Delhi.
