Hubballi,May 20:In the wake of incessant rains across the district, the District Administration has announced holiday for school and colleges.
The DC Gurudatt Hegde announced holiday after taking stock of the situation. A nodal officer has been appointed to address people’s grivances.
Karnatak University Dharwad has also declared holiday for students on Monday following the incessant rain.
The Dharwad district is receiving heavy rainfall since last three days, disturbing the normal life. Dozens of houses have collapsed across the district.
