Gokul Road Police Crack Theft Case. 2 Burglars Arrested
HUBBALLI, July 09: The Gokul Road police have cracked the burglary case which was registered in the Gokul Road police station on June 20.
The police have arrested two inter-district burglars and recovered stolen valuables worth Rs. 19.5 lakh from them.
The arrested have been identified as Deepak Rohan (28) from Khanapur, Belagavi and Shivanagayya Umachagimath (26) from Ron in Gadag district.
The police have recovered gold ornaments weighing 244 grams, silver ornaments weighing 2500 grams, one laptop, one scooter, two wrist watches, and one motorcycle which was used for the theft.
Apart from Gokul Road police station, burglary cases were registered against them in Vidyanagar, Belagavi, and Khanapur police stations.
ACP Shivaprakash Naik led the operation, while police inspector Praveen Neelammanavar is heading the investigation.
