Former Education Minister M. Raghupathy Passes Away

Bengaluru,June 18: Former Education Minister, Senior Politician M. Raghupathy passed away due to ill health at Bengaluru.

He was suffering from old age related health disorders and was admitted to Vaidehi hospital here in Bengaluru.

But he did not respond to the treatment and breathed his last at around 3 am this morning.

He was the MLA for Malleshwaram constituency and served in the cabinet of Ramakrishna Hegde.
He had stayed away from active politics the past few years.

While he was in Congress, served as secretary and also as the youth president of congress party.

The mortal remains of M. Raghupathy body have been kept at his residence in Malleshwaram for people to pay their last respects.

The final rites will be performed on June 19 early morning.
