Dharwad,June 22: Farmers of Kalasa Banduri Horata Samiti are protesting against Irrigation Department expressing their anguish saying “Dharwad Irrigation Department is Highly Corrupted. Because of this the Kalasa Banduri Nala Project is getting failed. Though against the approval for the project, the officers are negligent. “
The protest has intensified and entered the second day today infornt of the office of the Irrigation Department.
Woman farmer leaders protested by drawing rangoli in front of the office premises.
The farmer leaders have urged for handing over this case further to CBI for investigation.
