HUBBALLI, April 23: Three persons have been arrested for deceiving and extorting money from a woman in Old Hubballi.
The arrested have been identified as Chetan, a resident of Krishnapur in Old-Hubballi, Parshuramgowda Patil of Lingasuru, and Madhu of Gangavati Karatgi.
Saying that they are from CID Crime Branch, the accused is said to have threatened and extort money from Yeshodha of Chaitanya Nagar in Old-Hubballi.
Inspector Suresh Yellur and team arrested the accused and seized two mobile phones, and a bullet bike from them.
