HUBBALLI, Dec 08: Dr. S.F. Kammār has been appointed as the in-charge Director of Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS).
Dr. Kammār, a distinguished professor in Anatomy and Head of the PM&R Department, has been appointed by the government until the appointment of a permanent director or until further orders from the government.
The tenure of the outgoing director Dr. Ramalingappa Antaratani ended on Thursday. Dr. S. Rajashankar has been appointed as the Medical Superintendent and Head of the Pediatric Surgery Department at KIMS.
Both newly appointed officials, along with Dr. Ramalingappa Antaratani, were felicitated with floral tributes for their appointments.
