DHARWAD, April 15: If you are planning to spend some time in Sathodi Falls to beat the heat, then you have to wait till April 17 as the authorities have prohibited entry of tourists.
According to a press release issued by the forest officials, there is a threat of bees around Sathodi Falls. Therefore tourists have been prohibited from going near the falls till April 17.
A swarm of bees attacked tourists visiting Sathodi Falls in Yellapur taluk on April 12 after unidentified persons stoned a beehive. Over 15 tourists were injured in the attack and had to be treated at the hospital.
