DHARWAD: Dharwad continued to record over 500 COVID-19 cases on Saturday, with the district reporting 540 fresh cases and four deaths, according to the bulletin issued by the Health and Family Welfare.
With these new figures, the active cases in the district rose to 3,828. On the brighter side, 458 infected persons have recovered.
So far, 30,979 persons have been infected, and 26,443 persons have recovered. As many as 707 persons have succumbed to the deadly infection.
A total of 5,298 people were vaccinated on Saturday. They included 2,982 first dose and 2,316 second dose. So far, 2,57,857 people have been vaccinated in the district so far.
