DHARWAD: The district on Saturday reported new Covid cases as the district recorded 790 fresh cases of the deadly infection.
According to the report released by the Department of Health and Family Welfare on Saturday evening, the 790 fresh cases of Coronavirus took the tally to 68,545. As per the officials, the district has 3,571 active Covid cases, of which seven patients are in the ICUs.
The report says that a 82-year-old man suffering from Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) has succumbed to the deadly infection. His symptoms were fever, and cough. This puts the total Covid-19 fatalities in the Dharwad at 1,329.
